CSAA offers Honor Awards in 3 Categories
Each Award recipient will receive national recognition during the CSAA annual meeting held in June, a certificate, and $300 monetary award.

All nomination submissions must be received by January 31st.
To be eligible for any of these CSAA Awards the applicant, nominee or establishment must have a current CSAA membership.
Service Award
Awardees will have demonstrated a longstanding support of their local school. For example, a person who has donated time each summer to have the school open each Sunday for over ten years. Another example would be a person who has donated time and talent to make repairs to the local school for over ten years, or a person who has served as the schoolmarm.
Young Volunteer Preservationist Award
This award recognizes the dedicated young person, aged 14-22 , who willingly and regularly gives of their time by volunteering at schoolhouse sites, museums, historical societies, colleges, etc.
Craftsperson Award
This award is for a person who willingly contributes to preserving America’s early school history at your site, not for hired craftsperson’s work. It recognizes the talent and skill that goes into their outstanding workmanship.
